We can help with all aspects of children and families problems including children in need where short-term minimal intervention was required; child protection involving intensive packages of support to improve parenting skills, school attendance and the home environment; through to supporting looked after children to ensure all their needs were being met within the foster home or residential establishment.

Registered with the General Social Care Council since February 2005, and holding a B.Sc.(Hons) in Social Science and Social History, the Diploma in Applied Social Science and the Diploma in Social Work, Carol Gill is continuing her career development by studying for an M.A. in the Social Sciences.

We are able to work with any family need irrespective of racial or national origin, colour or creed, single carers, married couples, reconstituted or extended families. Carol can provide that crucial additional help and support at times of staff shortage or in an emergency situation, whether it is in a local authority Social Services Department, private and voluntary organisations such as adoption and fostering agencies or children's residential establishments.
